Since May of 2013, 206 unborn little ones were brought into the Building For Women in Duluth Minn. for slaughter through abortion. These little ones were enjoying life. They were jumping and kicking, rolling, sucking their thumbs, dreaming, feeling protected, until the butcher knife entered their safe haven with brutal force tore and cut their miraculously made bodies into pieces as they experienced intense pain and fear and with no escape they died. That is abortion. Yet to continue this gruesome story, the mothers go home and soon begin to suffer from the memory of their innocent and needy child whom they rejected and murdered. The mothers (and fathers) cannot forget what they have done and in the quiet stillness of the night play the incident of the abortion over and over again in their minds until they want to scream in agony. No hope to recover that child and as they grow older they remember, wondering if the baby was a girl or boy, wondering what life would have been like with that child around, and they miss the child with grief too deep to describe.
Abortion is deadly, it kills an innocent person and injures the integrity of the parents. What a surprise for so many women who think having an abortion will bring them relief only to discover an ever growing anguish of conscience of which there is no escape. Just as their baby in the womb could not find escape and refuge from the butcher’s knife, so there is no escape from the ever present and weighty searing guilt of conscience knowing they have unmercifully and brutally killed and murdered their own flesh and blood baby. It is no small wonder that suicide is in greater numbers for the women who have had abortions than for those who have not.
Women are hurting from abortion, it will not give them the relief they had expected but instead, guilt and regret will bear down on their soul and conscience with no escape internally. As a result symptoms from abortion are extreme.
The only way a women/man can find deliverance from the heavy weight of guilt that abortion brings is to turn unto Jesus Christ in faith and repentance. The very weight of sin is a mercy from God to bring us to Him.
Jesus Christ said, “I am the way the truth and the life, no man can come unto the Father but by me.”
“I am the door, find me and any may enter in, and he shall be saved.”
“There is no other Name,(Jesus) under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.”
We can come to God only through Jesus Christ, I pray that the parents of aborted dead babies might come to Jesus and find Him faithful to forgive and faithful to save them.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
We continue to come to the streets and pray in front of the Building for Women. When abortions are being done, we plead for the unborn child and ask the mother what we can do to help her not have the abortion. We seek direction from God in what we should say and how to say it. We continue to sing the praises of Jesus Christ and worship Him while we are there. He is mighty to save and we do not know how many women are coming out of that dreadful place with their baby still alive and well!
Please remember to keep us in prayer. We are sidewalk counselors for life and salvation in both the physical sense and spiritual. We also look for open doors to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please pray that we might reach multitudes of people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for prayers. I hope to better keep this blog up with reports of our weekly activities in front of the killing place of unborn babies- The Building For Women of Duluth Minn.
In the Love of Jesus,
