Why do we go to Building For Women in Duluth MN. weekly and why do we care?
The Lord Jesus Christ is the reason we care. He puts within our hearts much love for Him and people. When we see women going into the Building For Women and know that they are about to do something that will injure them for their entire life, it would be wrong not to say something. There is a powerful guilt that comes from killing an unborn person. Abortion will leave them with the horrible knowledge and guilt of shedding innocent blood. They can never erase the guilt, except by the forgiveness of Jesus Christ in the event they turn to Him in repentance and faith.
Life is a great treasure given to each one of us. We are not given permission by God to destroy someone else s life just because it is not convenient for them to have that person with them. If a pregnant women decides to kill the little one she is carrying in her womb, she is killing another person and denying that person the treasure of life. The mother should consider that she was given life and now she is denying such a gift from someone else, her very own child whom she in nature aught to love and cherish and protect .
We are pleading for the lives of the unborn children who are about to be slaughtered in a most hideous way. Not only do the babies suffer but the mothers who have abortions feel the terrible guilt of taking the life of another person. (God will not hold anyone guiltless that sheds innocent blood.)
God has called us to be there to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to bring glory and honor to Him. We pray and hope that there might be some who will come to know the Lord Jesus and find true life in Him.
God has commanded us to: “Deliver those that are drawn toward death, hold back those that are stumbling to the slaughter;” (Proverbs 24:11)….. If you say, Behold, we knew it not; does not he that weighs the heart consider it? and he that keeps your soul, does not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? (Proverbs 24:12)
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not a thing to be grasped to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:4-11)
